Moka

The moka, or Italian coffee maker, was invented in 1933 by Alfonso Bialetti, and itremains a fundamental element of every kitchen in Italy, with an almost unchanged design !!

Easy to use, it produces a strong and aromatic coffee. However, the finest aromas are destroyed by the temperature of the water (100 ° C)
The water in the base is brought to a boil, passes through the coffee and condenses on the upper level of the coffee maker.

Preparation for a 2-3 cups
Coffee: 15 g
Grind: medium
Water: 160 ml

 

Step by step
Pour cold water up to the level indicated on the inside of the moka pot.
Heat at low power, when it whistles (after about 5 minutes), remove from the heat, stir the coffee with a spoon to even it out, then serve.
