Turkish coffee

Turkish coffee is said to be the oldest method of brewing coffee, and owes its name to its distribution by the Ottoman Empire.

Preparation
Coffee: 10 g
Grind: very fine
Water: 50 ml

Step by step

InDon't worry if you don't have a cezve, a small saucepan will do. Pour the water and sugar you'd like and bring it to the boil. Add the coffee and bring to the boiling. Remove from the heat, repeat the operation twice. It is often recommended to boil the mixture, but it could destroy many of your coffee's aromas, so we suggest you don't!

Serve and let the coffee powder settle at the bottom of the cup before enjoying.

Little personal and nostalgic note: decorate the saucer with a small branch of jasmine from the garden.
